In this course, you’re going to learn, practice, review, and master over one thousand (1000+) essential signs in ASL.
The 1000+ signs are divided into the following twenty-seven (27) useful categories:

Each sign category has its own separate section. Individual categories are divided into learning the signs, review, testing, and signing dialogues.
Within each category, you’ll learn the signs in groups of ten. This keeps things fresh for review and testing.
Each sign is taught individually in its own bite-size video lesson.
For each sign, you and I thoroughly explore handshape, hand position, and hand motion.
After you’ve learned a group of ten (10) signs in a category, we do review.
After learning all sign groups in the category, there’s a big test.
Review and testing are always in two (2) parts: 1) Signing, 2) Understanding.
After completing a sign category, you get hands-on practice using those signs.
You and I sign complete questions, statements, and dialogues together.
In between sign categories, there are sections with ASL tips, inspiring quote deciphers, and finger fluency exercises.
After taking this course:

• You will know handshape, hand position, and hand motion for each individual sign.
• You will be able to understand and recognize over one thousand (1000+) signs.
• You will know how to correctly sign and understand YES/NO and WH questions in ASL.

I LOVE this course. Prior to the course i knew the alphabet and a few signs. Now I feel like I can have a conversation. Very slowly. :) I love that you break down the signs and show them from different angles. Also, that I could speed up, skip ahead, or slow it down if needed.
